Important news for those coming to Uttarakhand, will have to do corona test at their own expense


Dehradun: The pace of coronavirus is not slowing down in Uttarakhand. In view of the rapidly increasing cases in the state, corona check has been made mandatory at the border (check posts) of people entering the state from outside. Not only this, people will have to pay for the investigation themselves. Chief Secretary Om Prakash gave this order on Friday.


The Chief Secretary directed the District Magistrates to allow people coming from outside at the state border checkposts only after RT-PCR, TrueNat, CBNAAT test from ICMR authorized labs. In this it was directed that those people and devotees who have put the RT PCR negative report of ICMR certified lab on Smart City Portal with an interval of 96 hours, those people and devotees will not have any problem in coming to Uttarakhand.


However, if a person comes to the border of Uttarakhand without a report, then he can get his corona test done on the spot. The person will pay the cost of this test from his own pocket, if the report comes negative, he can enter Uttarakhand. At the same time, on coming positive, further process will be done keeping in mind the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
