Punjab University announced exam date, examinations to be online


All colleges and universities are closed due to the second wave of Corona. Due to which the semester exams and practicals of the students have not been done. Now positive cases have started coming down. In view of this, the Punjab University has decided that from 15 June, practical examinations for graduation and post graduation will be conducted online.


After the practical exam, the semester exam will start from June 28. And this year also it is expected that the semester exam will be conducted in the online mode just like last year. In this regard, a letter has been sent to all the presidents of the teaching departments of the university and the principals of the affiliated colleges.


The university authority says that between 15 and 26 June, along with UG and PG, viva and presentation of vocational courses will also be organized. Simultaneously, the university has instructed the presidents and principals to make necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of online practical examinations.


UG exam from July 12


According to the academic calendar, the running batch examinations will be from June 28, while the UG first year students’ exam will start from July 12. Along with this, the exam for university PU-CET post graduation can also be held on June 12 and 13.


Promoted to students without exams here,promoted


Mahatma Gandhi Central University has first and second year graduate course students and first year undergraduate students without exams. Actually, the university has decided to give promotion to the students in the next semester, considering the active cases of COVID-19. The university says that it is not possible to conduct exams in such a situation.
