Samsung’s foldable phone will come in India for only so many thousand rupees, not 1 lakh, has been launched only yesterday
Smartphone company Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (with S Pen support for the first time on a foldable) in India with a price tag of Rs 1.5 lakh, while the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G will be priced in the 85k-90k range.
Both the devices will be available in the premium and uber-premium segments in India from next month. Globally, the Galaxy Z Fold 3, 7.6-inch will be available for $1,799.99 and the 6.9-inch Z Flip 3 will cost $999.99. The price of Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in India is yet to be decided.
The phone is available in two variants, which include 12 GB RAM with 512 GB internal storage and 12 GB RAM with 256 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 sports a 7.6-inch Infinity Flex display and S (stylus) Pen support for the first time on a foldable device. The S Pen has to be purchased separately.
The rear camera system has three sensors of 12 MP. There is a 10 MP selfie camera and the Z Flip 3 also has a 4 MP under-display camera on the front. For the first time in a foldable smartphone, the Z Flip 3 and Z Flip 3 are equipped with water resistance, so users need not worry about getting wet in the rain.
The device is available in Phantom Black, Phantom Green, Phantom Silver colours. At the same time, it has Android 11 support with one e SIM and 2 nano SIM slots and it has a 4400mAh battery with fast charging. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G packs a 10 MP selfie camera and sports a dual real camera system. The device will be available in 8 GB RAM with 256 GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage variants.
